Summer Boot Camps 2011
An exciting experience with music, enhanced by optional offerings in drama, dance, and art. Students can learn and perform on a wide variety of instruments including piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, and voice.
June 30-July 28, 2024. Ages 11-18. 2,3 & 4-wk sessions. Bands, Orchestras, Chamber Ensembles, Jazz Ensembles, Choirs, All Levels, Private Lessons, Daily Classes, Workshops, Guest Artists, Weekly Concerts & Recitals, Daily Recreation.
Our Summer Rock Music Camp is an immersive experience to hone music performance and ensemble skills and have fun! Students spend a week working in a hands-on atmosphere and perform a real rock show at a local venue at the end of one week!
Write, perform, rehearse and record your original own songs!
Our Summer Boot Camps are ideal programs for musicians ages 8-18. Students spend 2 weeks learning and working in a hands-on atmosphere honing their playing and performance expertise as well as learning music industry-related skills.
The Orchestra Project is a yearly summer music camp held on the campus of VCU. It is a joint venture between the Richmond Symphony and the Music Department of Virginia Commonwealth University. The Orchestra Project features two camps that run simultaneously: String Odyssey for developing string players with 2 years experience, and String Intensive for the advanced string player.

We seek to help young women develop healthy self-image through music creation and performance. Our goal is to develop a supportive community of peers and mentors, to foster the development of life skills, and encourage social change.
School of Rock takes things up a notch with these 5 one week camps where kids learn music, have fun, get challenged, and leave with a truly unique musical experience. Every week cumulates with a real rock show for family and friends.
This one-week day camp is focused on regional students between the ages of 13 and 17 from beginning to advanced musicians.
