The Julian Family Fiddle Camp (JFFC) is held annually at a family retreat center just outside of Julian, CA. The camp offers an array of outdoor activities in addition to our music instruction, such as hiking, swimming, archery, and rock climbing. Attendees are invited to stay in the on-site cabins, and have the option to camp outdoors in a tent or RV/Camper, or commute from the various B&B’s located in the surrounding town of Julian, CA. All meals are included for the five-day retreat, as is attendance to the two evening concerts that are put on each year, featuring some of acoustic music's best musicians.

We’re dedicated to creating a space that fosters learning and strong relationships. Lifelong memories and friendships are often made here, with repeat campers attending each year. We pride ourselves on accommodating people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill sets. Instruction is offered for beginner-mediate to advanced musicians. If you can play a few simple tunes or improvise on advanced tunes, we have classes and instructors for you!

The town of Julian, CA, is a serene, historic mining town nestled in the mountains above San Diego. Not only is JFFC an opportunity for musical growth and camaraderie it's held in a beautiful back-country setting. Come join us for JFFC 2020. We hope to see you!
