In operation since 1936, Far View Ranch Camp is a farm/ranch experience for children on a 1,000 acre ranch in the California Sierra foothills concentrating on hands on experiences in an outdoor setting.

Mud City Adventures is a Vermont based outdoor activity program that seeks to increase each child's awareness of the outdoor world, including survival skills. All programs are geared toward experiential lessons and memories that will last a lifetime.
Campers will learn all about farm life, horse care, grooming and riding, games on horseback, plant a garden, learn where food comes from, care for Lenard the cow and goats, arts and crafts, and water activities
Campers start each day by helping with morning chores, such as collecting eggs, cleaning stalls and feeding. After the farm work the children will spend up to 4 hours focusing on the week’s camp theme.
