At Robotics camp students develop an understanding of "how things work" through hands-on activities that demonstrate the principles of simple and motorized machines. They gain experience with design and problem solving through the use of gears, motors, wheels and axles, pulleys, and remote control devices. Working in teams, students learn a variety of ways to design a robot to do the things they want it to do.

Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is a summer academic enrichment and leadership program that brings together students from over 150 countries and all 50 U.S. states for two-week sessions at Yale. Students attend Yale faculty lectures, join seminars taught by undergraduate and graduate college students, and conduct capstone projects—all while learning with likeminded peers from around the world.
Available for both children and adults, these two-week sessions take place during the summer to help individuals with speech, literacy and language skills at a variety of levels.
