Academic Enrichment Camp; Two, one week sessions; Co-ed; Held on a College Campus; 29th year; Ages 9-13 (before August 1, 2018)
The Orchestra Project is a yearly summer music camp held on the campus of VCU. It is a joint venture between the Richmond Symphony and the Music Department of Virginia Commonwealth University. The Orchestra Project features two camps that run simultaneously: String Odyssey for developing string players with 2 years experience, and String Intensive for the advanced string player.
Girl Scout Camp is an outdoor program designed to give girls a positive and fun experience in the great outdoors. Under the guidance of trained and enthusiastic leaders, each camp provides age-appropriate activities allowing girls to experience a variety of Girl Scout programs in an outdoor setting.
Program designed for kids of all levels to learn and have fun. The coaches of each sprort are winners on and off the field and will offer an experience like no other.
Traditional residential camp for children with diabetes, including swimming, canoeing, crafts, recreation and games. Volunteer medical staff includes physicians and teaches independence and control of diabetes.
Summer Arts is a multidisciplinary hands-on, arts education program which connects arts-interested youth to the inspirational possibilities of experiencing and creating artworks at the Museum.
English ridng camp focus on riding skills, horsemanship and horse care
Sports and Adventure in the afternoon with Enrichment and Recovery classes in the morning.
1-3 week long backpacking trips and specialty trips that include rock climbing, caving, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, canoeing, outdoor living skills, and wilderness leadership.
