Camp Horizons is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley near Harrisonburg, Virginia. We offer one and two week programs for campers ages 6-16.

The Journey Program, ages 6-11, features swimming, horseback, sports, drama, and more! Campers attended lessons in their cabin groups and as individuals based on age to encourage them to forge social bonds as well as exercise individual choice.

In the Explorer Program, ages 12-16, campers have all the benefits of the traditional program plus high ropes, rock climbing, caving, mountain biking, tubing, performing arts, and more.

We also offer specialty Leadership, Adventure, and Equestrian Camps!

With our horseback trails, junior Olympic pool, lake, performing arts, visual arts, archery, tennis, field sports, nature center and more, all our campers and staff get a chance to enjoy our beautiful facilities and sunsets while making life-long friendships. Compassion and understanding for others is expected during your time at camp while learning to live in a community where respect and individual value is emphasized.

We have been ACA accredited since our founding in 1983 and ensure campers are welcomed into a place where they can grow, be safe, feel like a part of a community, and of course- have fun!
