Located in Manistee National Forest on beautiful Big Blue Lake near Muskegon, Michigan, YMCA Camp Pendalouan has provided quality camping programs since 1925. We are a licensed camp with over 150 acres of beautiful oak-pine forest.

Our primary focus is on the personalized character development of every camper that spends time at Pendalouan. Our programs are kid-centered and values-focused. From the very first day, our campers learn about our four core values (honesty, caring, respect and responsibility) and Camp Motto (I'm Third). We promote them in our daily chapel skits, cabin reflections at night, and in all of our activities. Campers learn that if they just remember the four core values and the camp motto, they will live and lead a fulfilling life.

Some of our summer activity offerings include: high adventure courses, non-motorized water sports, target sports, horseback riding, swim lessons, crafts, theater, hiking, environmental education, spiritual awareness, mountain biking, and more! And while skill-building is a major part of our program, our priority is creating friendships, making memories and building character!

Transportation is available from Oak Park, Illinois and the Mart Dock in Muskegon, MI. Our carefully chosen staff receive intensive training covering child development, group leadership, water safety, first aid and CPR. A health professional staffs our Health Lodge 24 hours a day.
