We’re taking science, technology, engineering and math to a whole new level!

With The Science & Business of Personal Care Products, you’ll be incorporating science, technology, engineering and math along with finance, communication and art as you set out to become a mogul in the personal product industry.

Did you know that in 2012, US consumers spent an estimated $60 billion in beauty products? To become the next Estee Lauder, Philosophy or L’Oreal, you’ll need some know-how to get things done.

In this completely hands-on, fun summer camp, you’ll use science and the Engineering Design Process to formulate a new beauty product that helps solve problems. You’ll then get the skinny on how to brand your new product, how to price it competitively and how to get it to the marketplace. Plus, you’ll learn how to create your marketing and advertising collateral as you set out to reach your target market and get people to buy.

There are two camp sessions with one session for middle school girls and one for high school girls. SciPreneur’s, The Science & Business of Personal Care Products is offered through a partnership with ASU’s College of Technology and Innovation Summer Academy.
