Now in our 14th year, The Fashion Class' Kid's fashion design summer camp in NYC is a wonderful way to spend summer vacation. Children ages 6-12 will learn to sew using a sewing machine, illustrate and design fashion, create personalized accessories and have a blast with other fashion-forward kids!

Each day breaks down into three-five classes with experienced instructors (and our CPR & First Aid certified TFC staffers) who work in the fashion industry. Small class sizes allow each camper to get the attention and tools they need to design and create.

We’ll start the morning off with sewing in our large fully equipped sewing studio where we make real, wearable garments (campers will sew three items in one week). After lunch (and some fun fashion games) campers will move on to fashion illustration and design fashion art. Our last class of the day is call Art & Design which combines a bit of fashion illustration, painting, working with fabrics and other fun design-related lessons. Older campers will also go on fabulous fabric shopping trip in the garment district of NYC.

Campers can register for 1+ weeks. All supplies (except lunch) are included. So join us this summer at our boutique studio in NYC!

Extended day (9a-10a hand sewing, 3p-5p jewelry and room décor making class) available for an additional $450 (full week) and must be booked in advance.

Breakdown of the Day:
9am-10am Extended day morning class: Hand sewing and Embroidery (please call to book)
10 - 11:30 am Sewing: Campers will sew real and wearable clothing on our Singer Quantum Stylist Sewing machines complete with LCD touch screens, finger guards and plenty of fun embroidery stitches!
11:30 - 12:30 pm Lunch & Fashion Games
12:30-1:30 pm Fashion Illustration
1:30 - 3 pm Art & Design
3-5PM Extended day afternoon class: Accessory Design where campers make wearable jewelry and room décor! (Please call to book)
