This summer Daemen College is hosting several tech camps, perfect for both younger beginners or older more technologically experienced campers. At our Tech Camps, campers ages 8-14 learn to code, design video games, create with Roblox, and more! With our small class size, friendly camp staff, and innovative camp topics: your camper will be sure to have a great time at camp! Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we are not running camps this summer (2021).

Our Previous Summer 2020 Camps:
* Beginners Roblox: Game Design- Learn game modeling and basic scripting using Roblox Studio.
* Space Explorers: Radio Controlled Robots- Learn about the history of Mars exploration, robotics in satellites, and deep-space exploration while building your own take-home RC Space Robot.
* Intro to Python- Learn programming concepts & basics of the coding language.
* 3D Animation- Learn how to create short 3D animated interactive games and movies, using a program called Alice.
* Photo Editing & Design- Learn how to edit photos and draw their own designs using GIMP.
* Game Creation with RPG Maker- Learn story design, conditional branches, & more while creating a playable 2D style RPG game.
* Mini Computer: Microbit- Learn how to code a microbit (mini computer) using Microsoft MakeCode, a beginner-friendly block-based programming environment.
* Creative Coding with Scratch- Program games and stories with drag & drop coding.
* Advanced Roblox: Game Scripting- From start to finish build, model, and code an obby (obstacle course): teleportation portals, traps, floating platforms and more!


A daily snack will be provided. Campers will go home with a drawstring backpack and all of their project files. Please have your camper bring a flash drive to save their project files on.
