Children will learn about farm life…where real food comes from & how it grows. Garden games and work are apart of our fun and accomplishments. They will work with horses…understanding what it takes & how to care for them. We play games, have races and the teams compete against each other. Each camper rides horses each day and learns all about horse care. Campers will be a member of a Farm Family Team in which they will have responsibilities. Tap Root Farm Equestrian Summer Camp is about young people taking an opportunity to get back in touch with themselves. The pace of the world slows down, they will have time to share and experience nature’s reality, every moment is NOT booked with entertainment but through being surrounded by creation and all of its purpose, we learn more about ourselves and our purpose.
