TECH IT OUT Robotics is a high tech interactive day camp where kids and teens learn how to construct, code and compete with a robot of their own design in small teams. While having fun, youth are engaged in teamwork, as well as computer science, problem solving using math, robot engineering design concepts and critical thinking.

LEGO WeDo 2.0- CONSTRUCT. CODE. (Grades 1st-3rd)
In Tech It Out Robotics WeDo 2.0- participants are engaged in hands-on minds on STEM projects across science, engineering, technology, and coding. The thrilling combination of the LEGO brick, coding software, and challenging yet inspiring projects builds students’ STEM skills, confidence and empower them to design their own solutions with their own hands

LEGO EV3 1.0 - SKILLS BUILDING CAMP(Grades 4th-8th)
"EV3 Skills Challenge" is an academic camp where learners are introduced to the exciting world of robotics through constructing, coding and competing with the LEGO EV3 robots. Learners master the basic skills necessary for joining the robotics team or club. From teamwork, parts names, pseudo code, to circle math.

SHEbot Challenge- 'Girls Only' Camp (Grades 3rd - 8th)
SHEbot: Dance Challenge- create SHEbot that can perform a dances with you.
SHEbot: Tech Fashion- design,sketch, and sew outfits for the SheBOT to wear.
SHEbot: Fashion Forward- put it all together in a choreographed fashion show.

My hope is to demonstrate to girls that whether they are really into the "techie" side or "girlie" side of careers or not, STEM has a pathway to their dreams to make the world a better place.

SKILLS BASED ROBOTICS | ROBOTICS TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Campers will be able to:

• Define what a robot is in their own words
• Identify LEGO parts by proper name, category and functionality
• CONSTRUCT robots using LEGO instructions and own unique arm designs
• Program motors and appendages using unplugged EV3 Brick programming
• CODE using visual code to make robot go forward, reverse, and turn
• Use math to improve robot precision like traveling to a specific distance
• Use engineering process to plan and solve a problem using technology
• COMPETE in a challenge in small teams with a robot of their own design
