Summer at Norwood is celebrating its 20th year as a place where children expand their horizons each and every summer! Located on Norwood School’s beautiful 40-acre campus in Bethesda, Maryland, Summer at Norwood provides a summer experience where children can explore and immerse themselves in innovative, diverse, and enriching programs.
In keeping with the tradition and philosophy of Norwood School, we are committed to small class sizes and providing a positive environment that fosters creativity and joy in learning, while helping children develop self-confidence and learn that “how you lead your life matters.”
Serving children ages 3 ½ to 14, Summer at Norwood offers a wide variety of programs that explore many different areas including the fine and performing arts, science and technology, outdoor adventures, academic enrichment, cooking, sports, counselor-in-training program, and more. At Summer at Norwood, there is something for everyone!
Talented and experienced professionals lead all of our programs to ensure each child gets the full Summer at Norwood experience. Assisting every teacher are dynamic high school and college-age counselors, many of whom are Norwood School or Summer at Norwood alumni.
