*****Characteristics of summer programs?*****

Storming Robots creates theme–based projects to captivate students’ interest with the fun in programming and being creative. Just as importantly, all activities, simple or complex, will be guided through planning and designing through the engineering process. Every day will end with age-appropriate engineering journaling to recapture their work and new vocabulary for the day. This not only serves as a reinforcement, but builds appreciation for their daily accomplishments.

§ Grouped by skills sets: Programs facilitate students from Grade 4 to 12. All workshops are divided by levels of skills in programming mathematics and maturity. Workshops range from rudimentary to advanced level for the children who desire to pursue more vigorous learning during the summer holidays.

§ Mingle Hard Work with Fun! We have proven “thinking”, “working” and “having FUN” go perfectly well together.

§ Hands-On Application-based Project: Most workshops are themed based to energize the curiosity and engagement.

§ Engineering Challenge: Our Summer Workshops provide an opportunity for talented students to gain a technically productive Summer and the satisfaction from their own engineering creativity. Continuous open-ended design challenges are conducted with engineering processes in order to strengthen problem-solving, intricate analysis, and teamwork skills.

§ Deliver true robotics experience:
- Engineering disciplines from mechanical building to automation with robotic programming.
- Development Life Cycle — Planning, Designing, Implementation, Trouble shooting, etc.

§ Higher Order of Thinking:
All of our summer programs offer TAG (Talented And Gifted) level challenges. Many involve math applications and problem- solving, not just "how to calculate", but "how to apply" under various scenarios.
§ Feedback Report: Work habit and performance report is provided for each student on the last day of each workshop.
