Roughing It is an all-outdoors summer day camp for children aged 4-16 at the Lafayette Reservoir, located in the San Francisco East Bay area. Sessions are two, four, six, and eight weeks. Campers are grouped by grade and gender in small groups with an experienced adult counselor leading the group. They enjoy outdoor activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other adventures. Campers build skills, lasting friendships, and self confidence. Free transportation from 22 locations serving San Francisco, Lamorinda, Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, and the 680 corridor from Martinez to San Ramon. Free extended care available too.
