Redwood Music Teen Camp is a residential co-ed music camp for teens from 12 to 18. With a strong focus on Celtic music, our camp is for players of fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, recorder, harp, guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, accordion, keyboards, percussion, Irish tenor banjo, and cello. Participants must be proficient on one of the above instruments (i.e., have played the instrument for at least two years). Teens spend all day playing music in the redwoods and having a great time! In addition to rehearsing in instrument-specific groups and in the all-camp ensemble, we've got evening activities that include a movie night, a night of learning Scottish Highland dance, a barn dance, and a traditional Irish ceilidh (talent show/party) on Friday. There is also an optional craft time each day.

A number of partial need-based scholarships are available. Teens should send an email to the camp with a brief introduction and a summary of their need. Deadline for requesting scholarship funding is May 23, 2025.

Camp begins Monday morning on June 16th and ends at noon Saturday June 21st. We hold a final concert at 10am on Saturday for family and friends.
