The Lyceum Music Festival provides young musicians ages 9 to 21 a sneak peek into the professional world of classical music and positive role models to inspire, encourage, and mentor each participant along their own musical path. String, Wind, Brass and Percussion students prepare a professional level concert with the help of Utah Symphony musicians, chamber coaches and special guests. Guest performers have included The Piano Guys, The 5 Browns, Jenny Oaks Baker, Igor Gruppman, William Joseph and others.

The Festival provides the perfect musical environment to safely nurture and encourage the next generation of musicians. Students get to know, rehearse and perform with some of the most sought after young stars of classical music. Experience chamber music coaching with professional string quartets and learn the masterworks of the repertory with Utah Symphony professionals.

Participants enjoy daily opportunities for supervised recreation, hikes, BBQ's and private performances with sought after soloists. Getting the inside track to a career in music has never been SO MUCH FUN!
