We believe in the transformative power of camp - Simply put, Camp changes lives. Campers and staff develop lifelong friendships and memories here every summer.

We believe that the normal is absurd and that the absurd is normal - Some may look at our camp traditions as absurd. Turn on the news and you see examples of how the world treats each other. We think that is absurd! At camp it is normal to treat each other with love, respect, caring, honesty and responsibility...and, to sing songs with a mouth full of marshmallows. Camp is an example of how the world could/should be...and we're proud of this!

We believe that everyone belongs at Y-Camp - Every person has value and deserves to be loved and accepted for who they are. We often describe ourselves as a "camp family".
