This two-week total fashion immersion day program is for first time and continuing students in art, fashion, design, and sewing ages 11 to 18. Build confidence and sense of accomplishment as you see your own creativity transform into professional luxury fashion!

Program courses specialize in fashion from design to runway. Combined with the life experiences of our instructors, the High Fashion Arts Program introduces a real-world vision of careers in the fashion industry from couture to ready-to-wear. Final exhibition of work is displayed in fashion show with red carpet presentation.

The items developed in the camp are professional and create portfolio items supporting academic and art design portfolios for college admissions.

WHAT IS COUTURE?

French couture made-to-measure is a technique explored primarily in Academy of Couture Art degree programs. Where most fashion programs explore sizing such as 8 and 10 or work with a basic block and manipulate, the Teen Couture Design Club gives participants the advantage by accessing the sophisticated, precise French method of drafting the garment pattern from scratch to their unique body shape.
