This summer, Heartland Farm Sanctuary will offer one week sessions of Humane Education camp. During their time at the sanctuary, campers will explore the concepts of acceptance, compassion, and empathy for all beings in partnership with our rescued farm animal residents.

Our summer campers will enjoy lots of time outdoors as they take nature hikes on the sanctuary grounds and learn to plant and care for vegetables and herbs in our gardens. They’ll build a supportive and joyful community through collaborative games and activities, and express themselves creatively through open-ended art projects. Our Humane Education camp offers campers the space, guidance, and community to build compassionate connections with our animal friends, the Earth, ourselves, and each other.
