Join GirlVentures Bay Are Wilderness Immersion Summer Courses !!

We live in a world of screens smartphones, laptops, TVs, tablets and sometimes you just want to get away from it all. We understand. Join GirlVentures this summer where you're free to explore new worlds, unplug from society, and make new friends.

GirlVentures offers five uniquely themed summer courses for girls in 6th-12th grade. And with financial aid, transportation, and a team of supportive instructors, camp is available to every girl. You do not need to have climbing, kayaking, or backpacking experience. GirlVentures is for all girls*.

Through our courses that follow our Leadership Progression Model, girls backpack, hike, kayak and rock climb as they experience the wonders of the Northern California wilderness. They learn from experiential educators and compassionate mentors, while building life skills that will empower them to reach their full potential.

Exploring self, community, culture, health, and environment, our unique curriculum nurtures self-esteem and resilience, as girls develop into empowered, confident young women who are conservationists and compassionate allies to each other.

The experiences that these girls share enable them to feel supported, find strength from one another and within themselves, gaining the skills needed to face the challenges of adolescence and making a difference in them that lasts a lifetime.
