Before any baking has begun, campers are given safety instructions to teach them about some of the dangers that can arise while baking. We have a high level of trust that our campers follow these rules, which allows them to gain unique experiences that similar opportunities might not offer. Outside of these rules, the girls are free to be express their creativity within each of the stations.

Girls are grouped with other campers close in age who have similar interests. These groups visit a variety of stations, where they are taught unique skills within the world of baking. Our camp gives girls the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and also make new ones.

The first day is spent learning the basics of baking -- measuring, preparing, and mixing. Each camper bakes a plethora of cookies, four cupcakes (decorated to the theme of camp), and a few surprise treats specialized for each age group. Since our camp is earlier in the day, we ask the girls to pack a lunch and bring it to camp.

The second day is spent learning the basics of decorating, building upon the treats that they baked the day before. After a quick lunch break, the girls decorate their treats, indulge in some of the goodies that they have baked and celebrate all the good memories they've made. During the banquet, each camper is given a personalized award that shows their enthusiasm and a skill that they have significantly improved through the duration of the camp. One lucky and dedicated camper will be crowned "MVB", which stands for Most Valuable Baker. This gives all of the young girls at camp an opportunity to show off the hard work they have accomplished over the past two days at CupKate's Baking Camp.
