Castle Rock Ranch Camp is an overnight, farm and ranch camp for girls 9 - 15, located on a ranch with a mile of frontage along the Coeur D'alene river in the scenic northern Idaho panhandle. Food, farming and outdoor fun is our focus! Our garden and extensive blueberry and raspberry orchard produce all the food we eat, we have a variety of livestock that the campers help take care of, and we offer horseback riding in the Idaho mountains everyday. We aim to cultivate an interest in ranch life, the outdoors, sustainable food, gardening and agriculture, and to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the natural world in a soul-rejuvenating, rural setting. Campers ride horses and float down the river everyday, but also learn about animal care and growing food by helping with ranch chores in the morning (milking the goats, collecting eggs, and harvesting from the garden) and seeing how those ingredients get used in the kitchen. Castle Rock Ranch summer camp is perfect for girls who love animals, the outdoors and great food.
