Wawenock is a welcoming camp family that celebrates each girl’s unique skills and personality and empowers her to be her best self. Our program gives maximum attention to the individual, with an emphasis on personal development through group living. Continuity in instruction provides development of confidence and skill in the activities she chooses: swimming, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, horseback riding, outdoor living skills, archery, tennis, riflery, crafts, pottery, art, photography, music, drama and dance. Camp-wide programs foster the inclusive camp family atmosphere. Campers return and build upon previous summers’ relationships and learning, and take on increasing leadership roles. Girls gain the confidence needed to explore who they are and challenge themselves to learn and grow, building life-long 21st Century Skills.
