Unalayee (Place of Friends in Cherokee) is located in the Trinity Alps wilderness of Northern California. We offer a 10-day program and as well as 15-day programs where youth get the chance to learn to live in the wilderness and make friends and have a great time at the same time. Campers can choose a program with two short backpacking trips and half the session spent in our wonderful base camp basin (complete with a lake, sports, arts and crafts, and much more!), or they can choose to spend the entire session out on the trail exploring the wilderness.
