Camp Sparta is now home to the brand new “Hurricane.” The Hurricane is a “challenge by choice” team high ropes course. As everyone knows, hurricanes will affect you, and this is definitely the case when guests participate in the high ropes course known by the same name. Whether you are enjoying from the ground, or forty feet up in the tree course, you cannot participate without being dramatically affected by Camp Sparta’s very own Hurricane. Guests can enjoy being challenged to stand on top of a thirty-five foot telephone pole (X-Scream), or enjoy a nice cool breeze as they fly by on the new football field length zip-line that takes you over the water. These are just a few of the high ropes elements you can experience while at Camp Sparta.

Team Challenge Course- Also new to Sparta is an exciting and engaging team challenge low ropes course that will have your group working together and understanding the meaning of effective communication, effectively producing results.

Camp Sparta is a year-round christian camp and retreat center which partners with churches and community leaders, welcoming our guests to experience the journey of true life.
