Camp Pondicherry, our largest site, is located on 700 acres of unspoiled fields and forest in the foothills of the White mountains. Sessions run in length from one to two weeks, and can accommodate up to 150 campers per session. Pondicherry has specialty programs in drama, art, archery, horseback riding, outdoor skills and leadership. An on-site low ropes course is available, and the camp has a private waterfront where girls may swim, kayak or canoe.

Camp Natarswi is within the borders of Baxter State Park, and overlooks a beautiful wilderness lake to majestic Mount Katahdin. Natarswi is an outdoor paradise with a strong outdoor skills program that utilizes many of the amenities at Baxter Park. Rock climbing, archery, sailing, kayaking and hiking/backpacking are just a few of the featured programs.

All camps offer rustic living in platform tents, and opportunities for girls to build courage, confidence and character in the Maine outdoors.

Pondicherry has a staff of 40, with approximately 10 International staff. Natarswi has a staff of approx. 35, including international staff.

Girl scout camps are unique in the way that staff interact with campers. A special emphasis is placed on girl-driven activities, and campers are encouraged to learn decision making skills and be involved in the group process. A large percentage of staff and campers return to camp, and many of our staff attended our camps as young girl scouts.
