Our summer programs keep kids exploring and learning during the out-of-school months, battling the “summer learning slide” while immersing youth in unique hands-on adventure that turns the world into their classroom.

Whether it’s a Day Camp in the City or a classic overnight camp experience, our summer programs light a spark in youth, keep them learning, and re-orient their perspectives on school, their dreams, and their community. All of Namanu's programs focus on co-operative group living, an appreciation of nature, non-competitive sports, skill development, concern for others, fun, and forming friendships.

Over 100,000 local boys and girls have been to Camp Namanu in its 87 – year history. This revered Oregon institution offers a variety of traditional summer camp activities on 552 beautiful acres of forest at the foot of Mt. Hood.
