Since 1919, Camp Manito-wish YMCA has been dedicated to building character and cultivating leadership skills, utilizing a truly exceptional staff and three major program areas to challenge and inspire. Participants discover new skills and talents, build character and a sense of community, and see the world - and themselves - in a positive new way.

Summer camp is a time of discovery. Our programs intentionally build character and leadership skills through a wide variety of in-camp activities and progressive, leadership-oriented wilderness trips. Whether you're learning to shoot archery, horseback riding or paddling on Boulder Lake, campers learn to take on leadership roles and see their confidence and abilities grow.

The Summer Camp program offers youth in grades 5-10 the unique combination of extended wilderness camping experiences and camp activities. All campers participate in a wilderness canoe trip of 3-7 days in length in addition to having time to learn sailing, archery, crafts, horsemanship, music, biking, tennis and other fun activity areas.
