Camp Anokijig is an overnight, resident camp for children ages 7-16. Resident camp provides the opportunity for children to choose from a wide variety of camp activities and do it all. Resident camp includes 2 Skill Periods where campers focus on specific, chosen activities; Directed Free Periods allow campers pick and choose their activities to experience their own camp adventures; All-Camp Activities bring the campers and staff together for various large group events (campfires, sing-a-longs, talent shows, dances); and Sectional Activities where campers who live together plan an activity to enjoy as a group. We also offer a very popular horse camp where campers spend a portion of their day learning horsecare and riding techniques on our working ranch. Our specialty programs combine all the activities of "Resident Camp" with a focus on one particular activity for part of the day. Choose from Ranch, Circle-A-Riders, Fishing Expeditions, Youth Shooting Sports, or Teen Adventure Challenge. Optional day trips are also available for campers in grades 7 and up. Choose from paintball, whitewater rafting, a trip to Noah's Ark Waterpark, cave spelunking, tree climbing, rock climbing. If high adventure is for your child, sign up for one of our Adventure trips. Choose from Sylvania Wilderness Canoe & Fishing, Rock, Roll, & Splash Adventure, Apostle Island Sea Kayaking, or Whitewater Adventure. Space is limited.
