Affordable Blue Point Stables, LLC’s Summer Camps are JAM-PACKED with some serious Equine FUN for children who Love Horses.

In addition to our regular services of providing stall & pasture boarding, conducting equine training, instructing proper English & Western riding lessons, attending local Open Horse Shows with our clients, BPS also proudly administers & conducts our annual Equine Day & Overnight Camps! Both long Week & short Week Camps are offered.

Whether your camper is a new rider or experienced rider, BPS primarily focuses on the camper’s safety, education & enjoyment of horses while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Age & gender groups are mixed & supervised. At BPS we strive to create & support a team-work environment through positive & wholesome social interaction. Often new & treasured friendships & alliances are forged by our campers during their time with us.

Each camp session usually begins with your camper being assigned a horse to care for. Throughout the week campers will be taught horse safety practices, proper riding equitation & equine behavior, Weather permitting, campers usually participate in two daily riding lessons in either our all weather, covered Arena or our outside open arena. Additionally, each day camper enjoys recreational riding such as games on horseback.

Stable management is another area of education that the campers participate in daily. Campers are taught equine nutrition, saddle plus tack care & how to keep a stall hygienically sound for their horse.

Day campers bring sack lunches. All meals are provided for overnight campers.

At BPS camps are not just about riding horses throughout the day. Even though our camps revolve around an equine related theme, our daily activities are designed to keep your camper fully occupied and actively involved. We have many fun games, enjoyable crafts & physically challenging, fun activities. Our campers have the option to cap off the end of each day by swimming in our shallow above ground pool. Parents often relay how easy it was to get their children to sleep after a full day of fun at one of our camps.

Over the years, BPS had catered to campers from Alaska, Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, New York, South Carolina and of course Tennessee to name some.

Plus, we’ve had campers from around the World; including China, Costa Rica and Mexico to name some.

Again, weather permitting, at the end of each five (5) day camp week, campers proudly perform in a final horse presentation that they practiced throughout the week. Proud parents, relatives & friends are invited to the performance.

Blue Point Stables, LLC usually offers six camps per Summer Season, sometimes more – rarely less. So, clients usually have a multiple of camps to choose from. In our 2019 camps, we had more than 80 registrations for all of the camps.

We recommend registering early. Usually, by mid March all of our offered camps are full. Early-Bird registration usually begins sometime in December of each year. Of course, if your selected camp is full, you’re welcomed to register onto our waiting list. Wait lists are offered as a first registered, first offered basis.
