Discovery Camps at the Bay Area Discovery Museum ignite creative thinking and offer children the freedom of child-directed, open-ended learning through play. Children ages 3-8 and Junior Counselors 9-14 can build forts, perform plays about super heroes, explore the Bay, create and invent with art and more in our 15 camp themes. We offer several camps during the school year, which occur during Winter Break, MLK Break, February Break and Spring Break, as well as week-long summer camps.

Our natural surroundings provide children with a unique local environment to enrich their investigation of the surrounding world as they seek out new experiences. Children will leave here with a sense of belonging and new lifelong tools to support them with future discoveries.
