Alpengirl; an outdoor summer camp for girls, endeavors to influence the world just one girl at a time. To open her eyes, exercise her inquisitive mind, and develop her physical strength.

Each camper is encouraged to confidently embrace challenge and to comfortably excel at being herself. Alpengirl imparts these ideals through the trials and excitement of adventure activities and with the emotional nourishment of the natural environment. We operate in a way that is comfortable for teen girls.

Our focus is on ENJOYMENT of each activity in order to promote a lifetime of adventure in each camper. Activities are introduced at a beginner level with capacity for additional challenges and increased fitness. Self-reliance, initiative, group cohesion, and positivism are daily objectives.

Alpengirl is definitively unique in bridging the gap between close to home facility-based youth camps such as Girl Scout Camp and challenge-based wilderness expeditions such as NOLS or Outward Bound.
