ACTeen (est. 1978) is the nation's first on-camera acting academy developed for teens, and young adults. Winner of three Backstage Magazine "Reader's Choice Awards," (Favorite Acting Coach/Classes for Teens.) Professional film and television acting courses (involving the intimacy of the camera) combine with over 16 electives incorporating theater technique and discipline. June, July, August, or Summer Saturday Program. Speech, Voice, Movement, Improvisation, Shakespeare, Musical Theater, Theater, Commercials & Voiceovers, Directing, Script Writing, Auditioning, Scene Study, Meisner Technique, Alexander, Monologues. Distinguished graduates in TV series, film, Broadway. Rigorous training and industry showcases. Staffed entirely by working professionals, guest actors, casting directors. Intimate class sizes (8-12 students max ) provide individualized instruction and career guidance.
