About

Being a counselor at a residential summer camp is unlike any job you have had, or any job you will ever have.
As a counselor at Pali, your job is to oversee all aspects of camper life. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities for campers and helping foster personal growth on a daily basis. All counselors will be assigned to different activities based on camp needs and staff experience, as well as a cabin of roughly 10 kids that rotate weekly.

This role requires the desire and ability to work with children outdoors in recreational activities. You must be over 18 years old before the start of camp. Counselors must possess the ability to accept feedback and guidance and ability to assist in teaching an activity. Core traits we value in our counselors are good character, integrity, adaptability, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and patience.

Can you put the needs of the campers and camp ahead of your needs? You will be responsible for the health and safety of the campers in your charge. You will be responsible to make sure they wake up on time, dress appropriately for the weather, eat properly, drink water, put on sunscreen, have a positive in cabin experience, make great friends, attend the correct activities…. And so much more!

We are looking for staff who are empathetic, responsible, timely, self aware, and kid focused from around the world to help us create the best summer experience possible for our campers yet! This will mean a job experience like no other, so keep the following in mind:
