During the summer Western Michigan University offers a wide variety of camps geared toward students of all ages. Our camps range from academic to sports, with a little bit of everything in between. Camps vary in cost based on requirements.
Independent, non-profit, cooperative, co-ed, overnight camp that promotes peace, social justice, environmental stewartship and cooperation through education, recreation, work and the arts, among people from all backgrounds. MiBytes is a computer camp offered by the University of Michigan and taught by Computer Science and Engineering faculty. Four programs are offered with engaging, hand-on projects to teach students a variety of computer science topics.

SAI: a half-day, week-long math enrichment program for students entering grades 3-7 for fall 2025 (NOT just gifted/talented). We turn kids ON to math, using hands-on activities, fun games, & substantive Algebra. On day #1 SAI students start doing Algebra that high school students can struggle with. Some 4,000 students have attended SAI since 1995. The ONLY sessions of SAI in the U.S. are in the Holland-Zeeland area of west Michigan.
