A weeklong musical theatre intensive where students AGES 9-18 join an immersive experience in the world of musical theatre, where every moment is a step towards a future in the arts. Set on the 400-acre campus of St. Stephen's School in the scenic Texas Hill Country in Austin, Texas, the experience is unique and inspiring to all students who attend.
We ask our students to set aside limits: to be courageous and open to surprise as they immerse themselves in the immediacy and power of Shakespeare’s plays. Conservatory students spend the morning studying acting, physical comedy, stage combat, and more; afternoons are for rehearsals, to create a fully-realized, specially-adapted public performance of a Shakespeare play on the final day of the conservatory session.
